Za sklem o. s. – Center for the Development of People with Autism and Support for their Families. A non-governmental, non-profit patient organization helping individuals on the autism spectrum (ASD) and their families with the goal of enabling people with ASD to live, learn, and work in common environment. The organization engages in advocacy, destigmatization, education, leisure activities, interest-based initiatives, and publishing. It provides four registered social services with a regional and national reach. These services include social activation services for families with children on the Autism Spectrum, professional social counseling, social rehabilitation, and day services centers, all offered through branches in Zlín, Olomouc, Prague, Brno, and Kyjov across the Czech Republic. Za sklem o. s. is a member of the National Council of Disabled Persons, the Association of Social Service Providers, and the Union of Social Services of the Czech Republic. It works closely with self-advocates on the autism spectrum and human rights organizations.
