It's more than half a year since we opened a social enterprise in Žižkov - a vegan bistro and a cafe where we currently work together and employ five people with homeless and / or convict experience. Thanks to the enormous support we have received from you, we have decided to go furtherand from autumn we want to start catering services. That means new jobs and therefore new places for people from socially disadvantaged groups. In order to prepare everything this short after opening the bistro, we will need your help. Even a small regular monthly contribution helps plan and expand the Roof to get as many people as possible under the roof. You can, of course, also make a one-off contribution! For the donated money, we mainly buy the equipment needed for catering, such as a hot tub, stand, fridge, gastronomic pot etc. Regular contributions will then be used to ensure sustainability of the social enterprise and new jobs.

In the future, we also plan to start stall sales at festivals etc. and open a new social business. We would be mainly concerned there with the preparation of catering and stalls, but we are also thinking about starting a bakery and sweet-shop. Socially, cooperative, vegan and affordable! All of these plans will be fulfilled with your support much faster, and with the development of the Social Cooperative Roof, other homeless people and / or people after serving a sentence will find work.
