Want to know more? So sit back and listen to our story:
❝Beyond the seven landfill and seven waste streams, where garbage was dumped and plastic poured down, there was a small shop. It wasn't just an ordinary shop. Nice people were shopping there, they were putting goodies into different containers, glass jars or bags and were very happy that they didn't have to throw them in the trash. However, this shop also had its bins. It really tried hard to keep them empty, but still was producing some waste - boxes, paper or foil. And it was all beautiful material! Solid, clean, colorful and natural, small or large. So the shop decided to keep it and started to make nice things out of it - for example exercise books, children's games, document covers, letter covers, pots for plants and much, much more! And also - since there was not much time left for the shop, it needed help with production. So it offered work to people with big hearts, who didnt have it always easy in life. This kind of cooperation worked so perfectly that the garbage bins in the shop were soon not needed at all…..And they all live happily ever after, creating many magical things from the waste.❞
This fairy tale "Behind the Seven" is not just a fairy tale or a dream. It is our goal of a new workshop, which we can create together. Let´s start a unique place in Zlín, a place which continues to use all its waste, inspires people and gives meaningful work to the disabled or teenagers from foster families.
✳ The leftover material still has value and we can turn it into really amazing, practical and usable things. We can create them honestly, with artists, sculptors or photographers. This way their internal value can also be appreciated from the outside.
✳ We know that there are many people in our region who have not had equal opportunities, but want to get involved and deserve a job where they can learn new skills or develop their qualities.
✳ We are building a Circular Lab (a place that uses its waste as a resource) and we want it not to be just a word or an idea. It is re-Dílna that unites the seemingly unthinkable into a natural and self-sufficient whole.
We need 60 thousand crowns to:
✳ To create prototypes of functional and visually adorable products from our waste.
✳ To fine-tune production, develop procedures and train ambassadors, which allows also disabled people to get involved.
✳ To find nifty hands for production and to create micro-jobs for disadvantaged people, teenagers from foster families or mothers on maternity leave.
It's great that we have already received a matching grant from the Active Citizen Fund program from the OSF Foundation for this project, thanks to which each of your donations will be doubled. For this to happen, we must reach the target amount of 30,000 crowns.
Let's start the re-Dílna together! ☺ Thank you.
The project was supported by the OSF Foundation under the Active Citizens Fund, which aims to support civil society and strengthen the capacity of non-profit organizations. The program is funded by the EEA and Norway Funds.
Verím, že projekt má zmyseľ a vážim si každú tvorivú činnosť na využitie odpadu 🤝👌🙏
Hezké nápady je třeba podpořit! Ať to vyjde! Už se těším na výrobky :)
