Hoštecké kočky, z.s. were created primarily due to the castration of homeless cats in Hoštka and its surroundings. Over the time, the activity has expanded and we also take care of abandoned kittens, and we are looking for new homes for them.

Trying to help abandoned and impoverished cats seems to be harder than fighting windmills.

The number of them is increasing despite castration programs, because there is still a lot of people who are against castration, and the animals come to us in a very pitiful state, because the same people who multiply them do not take care of them ....

And we often run out of strength, but also finances, and we struggle very ofter to cover the necessary expenses for veterinary, food and other cat needs.
