Amity was founded in early 2022 to support Ukrainian Refugees relocating to Prague, Czech Republic. As a result of this humanitarian crisis, the needs are immense and ever changing.
We started with a simple concept and it grew from there. Initially opening apartments owned by the founder and her family to refugees. As the Amity story spread, the offers of available flats was swift yet the human demand was massive. Amity provides accommodations for over 80 Ukrainian women and children in more than 20 Prague apartments.
Amity provides support services that envelope the arriving families. From sourcing gently used clothes and shoes, locating employment, assistance with education and medical care and providing food for the families. At Amity, we believe it is important to walk alongside the families as they make their new home in Prague.

Wishing you all the best!
Saw a nurse on MSNBC's American Voices with Alicia Menendez on Sunday, July 10, 2022, who volunteers for your organization and that is why I am donating. She is an excellent representative of your worthy cause.
Thank you so much for your donation. I am the one you saw on MSNBC, my name is Kimberly Bianchini, it is so nice to meet you. I feel extremely blessed to have this opportunity to help these families. I could not do it without of the support of donors like you so thank you very much! Would you mind if I added you to our email list so I can provide you with updates about our work. I would also be happy to share with you more specifics about what I am doing and also the families your donation is going directly to support if you agree. Wishing you a wonderful day and thank you again, Kim
Hi Kim, I saw you and the other US ex-pat on MSNBC tonight. My parent lost everything in Poland. We came to Canada and started over in 1952. We're retired and wish we could give more than $10usd and we will try to give more soon. I think what you and the oter family is AWESOME! I think there others but no one knows how to reach them so I was so glad MSNBC showed their video of what you all are doing. Keep up the great work! The news of what Russia is doing and happening is USA is so depressing, we need more good stories like yours!
Take care,
Mary Herriott
