This year we commemorate the 90th anniversary of Olga Havel's birth. Please donate to the collection for underprivileged people and help us to continue Olga Havel's legacy. Together we will help the elderly, the long-term ill, the disabled and the socially disadvantaged.
Olga Havlová, the founder of the Olga Havel Foundation, has always tried to help people who were ill, abandoned, and living in undignified conditions. This year she would have celebrated her 90th birthday. On this occasion, we have started a collection to raise a symbolic CZK 900,000 to help disadvantaged people. Successfully reaching the target amount and then distributing it among the people in need would be the best birthday present for Olga.

The collection is part of the national campaign Olga is Here with Us, which commemorates the significant anniversary of Olga Havel. Throughout the year we will be commemorating Olga's legacy at many events across the Czech Republic. In March, the premiere of Song for Olga, composed by Aneta Langerová in honour of Olga Havel, was performed at a gala benefit concert. This song is performed by local choirs at dozens of meetings at the Olga Havel Trees.
On 11 July 2023, the anniversary of Olga's birth, Bishop Václav Malý celebrated Mass in Týn Cathedral. Throughout the year, there are exhibitions of photographs "Olga Havlová and the Committee of Good Will" throughout the Czech Republic.

Děkujeme naší sesterské organizaci L'Association Olga Havel, branche helvétique za příspěvek do sbírky Dárek pro Olgu ve výši 23 919korun. Ženevská sesterská organizace Výboru dobré vůle vznikla spolu s dalšími sesterskými organizacemi v roce 1990 krátce po založení Výboru dobré vůle a funguje dodnes. V jejím čele stojí paní Marcela Salivarová Bideau. Děkujeme!
Jako již tradičně i letos se Výbor dobré vůle - Nadace Olgy Havlové zúčastnila oslav svátku 17. listopadu. Náš stánek na Václavském náměstí navštívily během odpoledne stovky lidí, jejichž dary v celkové výši téměř 20 tisíc korun putují na konto sbírky Dárek pro Olgu. Děkujeme!
Do sbírky Dárek pro Olgu přispěl také opavský ROTARY CLUB. Rotary clubem zorganizovaný prodej punče na akci Světlo pro Olgu vynesl krásných 4 400 korun. Děkujeme!
V pátek 10. listopadu jsme spolu s prezidentským párem Petrem a Evou Pavlovými vysadili v Jelením příkopě na Pražském hradě jubilejní 90. Strom Olgy Havlové. Vzpomínkového setkání na Olgu Havlovou se zúčastnilo více než 150 jejích příznivců z řad známých osobností i široké veřejnosti, kteří přispěli na sbírku Dárek pro Olgu částkou 5950 korun. Děkujeme!
Posíláme srdečné poděkování studentům a studentkám 1. třídy Praktické školy Opava za jejich dar na podporu sbírky Dárek pro Olgu. Dar ve výši 2000 korun byl předán v rámci akce Světlo pro Olgu 2023 ve čtvrtek 2. listopadu 2023.

On Tuesday 12 September, the Hotel Augustine and Luxury Collection in Mala Strana hosted the launch of the new lifestyle magazine Newstream CLUB, published by the editorial team of the newstream.cz website. During the gala evening there was also an auction of Olga Havel's items, the proceeds of which amounted to CZK 101,000 and will go to Olga's Gift. We would like to thank all the bidders and wish the Newstream.cz editorial team many happy readers.
The Olga's Gift collection was also supported by a long-standing and important partner of the Committee of Good Will - Olga Havel Foundation Československá obchodní banka, a. s. (ČSOB). Thank you very much for your generous contribution of 90,000 crowns and for promoting the collection on social media.
One of the beneficiaries of the Gift for Olga collection will be the organization Modrý klíč, o.p.s.The contribution from the collection will be used to purchase a minibus with special adaptations for transporting people with limited mobility. Modrý klíč, o.p.s. provides social services to children and adults with profound, severe and moderate intellectual disabilities. Modrý klíč has been providing transportation and delivery of service users since it began operations in 1992. The Olga Havel Foundation's Goodwill Committee contributed to the purchase of one of the first cars in 1995. The keys to the Ford minibus were handed over to the director of the organization Milana Ramerová at Prague Castle by Mrs Olga Havlová herself.
The Committee of Good Will - Olga Havel Foundation together with the SILOU HLASU association and Alfred Strejček organized a gala charity concert on 14 March 2023 on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Olga Havel's birth. The almost half a million proceeds from the concert were donated to help the people with medical disabilities through both organizing organizations. The amount of 221,754 crowns received by the Olga Havel Foundation will help individuals and non-profit organizations that help people with medical conditions through the collection Gift for Olga.
