Rescued from a chain, Indie is now 1.5 years with us in our sanctuary. She saw many of her dog friends come and go. We were told that a surgery on her deformed front paw could help her to live a normal life, but despite the vet's recommendation the operation wasn't a success. It actually made Indie's condition worse, where parts of her leg are now so straight, that she suffers from broken nails and injuries on her paw.

We gathered more information and opinions from other orthopedic specialists and all of them confirmed that Indie's operation wasn't a success and only an amputation would help to improve her condition. We trusted the wrong advice and we are very sorry that we have to ask you again for your help! We need your help to be able to cover the costs for Indie's final operation, so that she can run without dragging her paw and find her forever home!
