CzechDreamin supports Ukraine
Immediately after the start of the current conflict, People in Need began delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine and providing support to refugees arriving in the Czech Republic and other countries.
We operate in the west and east of Ukraine, where our humanitarian trucks and trains are heading and where our team of more than 100 people works; in neighbouring countries we help those arriving from Ukraine in cooperation with local organisations; and in most regions of the Czech Republic we provide social assistance to refugees. This is all thanks to the support of our donors, who gave us a billion and a half Czech crowns in the first few weeks after the Russian invasion began.
We have been working in eastern Ukraine before since 2014 - not only in the humanitarian field, but also in the education of young people or in the economic development of agricultural areas. But since the war started at the end of February 2022, these projects have been put on hold.

Protože v zemi působíme už od roku 2014, mohli jsme po vpádu ruských vojsk v roce 2022 začít pomáhat okamžitě. Vybudovali jsme také síť s více než 200 partnery. Spolupracujeme s místními organizacemi, iniciativami občanské společnosti, vládními orgány i akademickou obcí, abychom posílili soběstačnost a odolnost lidí a současně jsme pomohli zajistit základní potřeby. Chráníme práva lidí zasažených válkou a prosazujeme dlouhodobá řešení.
