Our goal is to create a unique day where we will replace everyday`s troubles with joy and pleasure for everyone. A day that will connect worlds. We will fire up grills, bake cakes, hommemade meatloaf, make spreads of all kinds, prepare fresh lemmonade as well as tea and coffee.

Besides food and drinks we provide to our guests many additional services such as distributing hygienic and cosmetic items, on spot hairdresser and barbershop or live music and entertainment of all possible kinds. Very important parts of our PIKNIK represent professional help, care and assistance provided to our guests by medics, social- and streetworkers, therapists and psychologists from variety of organizations and charities. They are present on site all day long to také care of our guests` needs and troubles in the fields of health, mental and psychic state, drug using/addiction issues or difficult living conditions/situations.

A matter of course, an important mission and spirit of our PIKNIK is the principle of recycling/reusing in all possible ways. Most of the food is prepared from “saved” ingredients, clothes, appartment furnishigs etc. Are donated by individuals or companies.

Thanks to our long-term cooperation with Potravinová banka and other companies we have an abundance of private donors, but still there are costs that need to be covered. Not everything can by recycled or reused, for example meat for the grill, ingredients for fresh spreads, barrier-free toilets rental, petrol costs... Therefore we are more than grateful for any financial support. 

If you can`t/don`t want to support us financially, but you still want to give helping hand – you are most welcome and your help is very appreciated! You can bake a cake or prepare any homemade food, sweet or salty, doesn`t matter, everything you bring will be eaten to the last crumb. Do you have any sleeping bags, tents or cans and long-life food that you have no use to? Check your households and bring all stuff you don`t need, everything helps. You can also bring your old (operatable) cellphones... anything can get a second chance!

And what is going to happen with the money you gave us? We`ll use it to the last penny/cent. We don`t keep a single coin. If there`s any money left after covering the costs of the event we will spend it on hygienic items and vitamins – there is never enough of this stuff...
