HAE Junior is a non-profit patient organization seeking to improve the quality of life of children and youngsters suffering from hereditary angioedema (HAE). The organization was established in December 2019 in Prague, at the initiative of a group of parents. HAE is a lifetime rare disease, which causes frequent painful swellings of various parts of the body. Life with HAE implies recurrent temporary health problems, frequent emergency visits and injections, long-term psychical burden and other limitations.
