The new concert hall, which from above resembles a violin case, a spaceship, or even a stingray, has the potential to become a new symbol of Ostrava—just as the Eiffel Tower is to Paris or the Sydney Opera House is to Australia. Some eagerly anticipate it, while others resist it. Even now, it sparks passionate debates, as bold architectural projects often do.
