Lipová-lázně - Flood Relief 2024

The village of Lipová-lázně was devastated by severe floods, splitting the 8 km-long village in two. All footbridges were destroyed, leaving only a few bridges intact, which has greatly disrupted transport and the daily lives of the residents. The damage is extensive—five homes have been severely affected, and many others have been flooded. The local school’s kitchen was also flooded, making it difficult to provide meals. Tragically, there have also been fatalities, compounding the hardship faced by the community. Help is urgently needed to restore the village, allowing residents to return to their homes and for life to resume as normal.
