GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY to people in need with a voucher from Locals for locals

You can support someone in need living next to you - give them the opportunity to come to a place where they are welcome, the opportunity to meet people and to get small support! Even a cup of coffee or tea in a friendly café or a possibility to buy few pieces of clothes, can really warm up someone in need/someone without home - and cheer them up, as well! Cafés and small shopkeepers in Prague join together to offer direct help towards people in need from their neighborhoods - with your support! Until Xmas we want to fill their cafés/shops with vouchers for people in need!

Even a small kind gesture can mean a lot to someone in need - acceptace and knowing that they live in a place where people still help one another! Thanks to you someone who can not afford it, can get a coffee and dessert or buy few pieces of clothes!
But how? This is supported by vouchers from Locals for locals which you can buy in 5 cafes/shops in Prague. You can buy them there and give to someone who you think needs them! Now, we offer the possibility to donate vouchers online, as we aim to spread the opportunity to as many people as possible! Until Xmas we want to fill the 5 shops below with vouchers which help people in need!

In the price of: 
  • 1-2 EUR someone without home can get a free coffee/tea in the cafés Čekárna (take away coffee; Prague 2), Family coffee & bistro (coffee; Prague 8) or café Potrvá (coffee or tea; Prague 6).
  • 4 EUR the person will get a dessert + coffee - something that people in need can barely afford - in Bistro Střecha (Prague 3).
  • 8 EUR a person in financial crisis can buy some nice and warm clothes in Přestupní stanice (Prague 3).


The cafés and shops that offer these vouchers, usually offer also long-term free services to people without home and people in need. This campaign is a challenge for the public to join direct help towards people in need!



People in need will get to know about the vouchers through our flyers that are distributed by street workers of the NGOs Naděje, Armáda Spásyand Charita, thank you! The information is also sent to emergency shelters and counseling centers e.g. Everyone sometimes need a small support, while offering it can mean a big help and motivation to someone! Thank you for giving this opportunity!
