Children and parents are seeking safety and peace in the Czech Republic, so that they can start a new life. Children need to go to school and play with friends, adults want to integrate into the labour market. They all need to learn Czech so that we can communicate together.
This solidarity will strengthen not only them, but all of us. A society where there is diversity and understanding is strong and successful.
At the Centre for Integration of Foreigners we have been providing social and employment counselling since 2003, helping families with children. Our volunteers help foreigners to find their way in their new environment and also create leisure programs for everyone. Children and adults can learn Czech with us and we can quickly train teachers to cope with children with a different mother tongue in their classrooms.

We help immigrants to become our fellow citizens.
Thanks to you, we'll be able to:
- organize low-threshold Czech language courses for adults and children
- provide interpretation services as well as accompaniment to offices and schools
- coordinate more volunteers
- organise crash courses for teachers and tutors of Czech with additional methodological support
We need to strengthen our capacity to effectively assist newly arrived foreigners at our locations in Prague, Central Bohemia, Liberec and Ústí nad Labem regions. We need Czech language teachers, we need volunteers, we need you!
