Here we go again!

The same as the last year, we have gathered all our strengths and (super)powers and organized the famous, beloved and one-and-only Picnic (not only) for homeless people.

Like every year we invite people from the streets and shelters as well as people in difficult and hard life situations to come over to have some good time with us. We provide lots of food & drinks, organise leisure activities such as beachvolleyball, invite friends and buddies from various layers of the society... There will be also "hrabárna" (some kinda flea market) of all kinds of stuff, gifts and much more...

An important part and parcel of our Picnic is the presence of a professional staff trained in various fields of social working - psychologists for personal talks in private, "Medici na ulici" ("Medics on the streets") for health checks, private and decent conditions for addicted people will be provided and last but not least - the doors of our "barber shop/hairdressing salon" will be open for everyone. The good spirit of the whole event will be guaranteed by DJs and well digesting after the great dinner will be taken care of by a live band!

DO YOU WANT TO JOIN US? You are more than welcome! You don't have to live on the streets to get involved and give a helping hand.

We save, we share, we recycle!

Give us fruit jams, canned fruits, pickled veggies, food leftovers from households, pantries and/or gardens. Long-life or fresh (the fresh ones please just last minute before the event), we take and use everything!

You can bring the stuff to any of our collecting points (prefered and appreciated option - list of the collecting points is coming soon) or we'll come to your place (anywhere in Prague) and pick everything up by ourselves.

We will be very thankful and happy for any volunteers who will be able and willing to prepare any homemade foods such as cakes, meat loaf, spreads or any other delicacies, because nothing tastes better than a hommemade product cooked/baked/prepared with love.

Our Picnic is not only about eating, we try to serve all the things that are hard to get on the streets - our guests (both men and women) very much appreciate toiletries and other stuff we use everyday for the good hygiene - deodorants, shampoos, washgels etc, as well as clothing, sleeping bags and/or blankets (in good condition).

We also welcome medical stuff, desinfection and/or food supplements (vitamins etc.).

There are of course some "unrecyclable" stuff and goods we need to buy/pay for (mobile toilets rent, gas, meat and other fresh food etc.) so we are very thankful for any financial support.

All the collected money will be used for the Picnic. In case there will be some money left (haha), we will buy more toiletries - there are never enough of them 

Because we are connecting worlds, we will be MOST happy if you come in person. Come and give us a helping hand, come to see the world of people who don't live on such a good level as we do, come to spend some time with us... Just come. We all will be happy to see you no matter if you bring something or help with something, just be there. Everybody is welcome, we have no borders. We are connecting the unconnected.
