The existence of the Memory of the Nation branches allows us to get closer to interesting testimonies in the regions and to film interviews with witnesses in studios close to their homes. In addition to documentary filmmaking, the branches are involved in educational projects, organizing exhibitions, talks, screenings and commemorative events.
In the spring of 2022, an exhibition was opened at the Institute of the Memory of the Nation in Pardubice, which will immerse you in the past with the help of modern technology and real stories. At the beginning of the tour, you will choose a story to follow, perhaps even co-enact, for the next ninety minutes. Then you will be carried away by the narrative of the history, supplemented by projections, unusual effects, augmented reality and interactive screens. This is the so-called "museum of the new generation".
The aim of our activities is to help society remember, think critically, respect and cultivate the environment in which we want to live together.
We believe that by telling stories, values are also passed on, which is why we are committed to commemorating the experience of totalitarian regimes of the 20th and 21st centuries. We would be grateful if you would join us in this. Become a donor and help us care for the Memory of a Nation.
Thank you!
