Support the planting of the Alley of Freedom'24, which will be planted on the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.
The Alley of Freedom is a traditional event of the Partnership Foundation and its initiative Sázíme budoucnost (Planting for the Future), where together with the public and partners we plant trees as a symbol of freedom and democracy. The last Alley of Freedom was planted in Kujavy in the Novojičín region and became a symbol of the recovery of the landscape and the return of freedom after the difficult times of the last century.
The site where the alley will grow this autumn is now a flat field. The alley will therefore divide a large block of land and improve the permeability of the local landscape. In addition, it will connect two cycle paths on the section Broumov - Hejtmánkovice - Křinice, which will create a walking circuit. This will complement the existing very popular Broumov tourist routes in this area.
The site is also known for the occurrence of the ash crane, heron and is the territory of a large number of birds of prey. Therefore, it is planned to organize a workshop on making crutches for raptors together with the planting.

- The event itself, as well as the subsequent care of the trees, will help to develop the community life of the village, understand the local heritage and create a new history of Broumov.

The proceeds of this collection, guaranteed by the Partnership Foundation, will be used to organize the planting of the Alley of Freedom'24 i.e. involvement of volunteers in the planting work, professional supervision during the planting, purchase of trees including protection of trees against damage and transportation of seedlings to the site, marking of the trees, subsequent care of the trees in the following years and other necessary costs.
