Scout education leads children and young people to be active, equipped with practical skills and willing to help others. The same way as in other crises scouts are ready to help in flood affected regions. Help us to help!
There are clubhouses partly or completely destroyed by water. Help the scouts there so they can return as soon as possible to their troop activities, joys, adventures and education.

We will use your donations for:
- costs directly related to scout volunteer assistance in affected areas - for units and other groups that go to help directly on the spot,
- repairs of damaged scout clubhouses,
- replacement of destroyed scout equipment.

How high water affected scout clubhouses?
- the Ještěr Ostrava center had a flooded clubhouse up to half of the windows
- a river flowed through the shopyard of the Hraničáři troop in Karviná
- the clubhouse in Krnov is in places that were under water, the condition has been unknown yet
- the Scout House in Opava has been flooded up to windows
- the shipyard of the port of Černý čáp (Black Stork) in Opava has been flooded, not accessible yet
- the clubhouse of Poseidon harbor in Opava has been flooded

We are far from knowing about all the damages, but our estimate is up to 50 partly or fully destroyed clubhouses.
In News we will update all the other clubhouses destroyed we will find about in future.

The Scout House in Opava was flooded up to windows on Sunday noon. The fence was fully under water in the afternoon.

What donations are not intended for:
- material and humanitarian aid to individuals and legal entities (except of branch scout associations) in affected areas. You can support such help in the collections of humanitarian organizations, e.g. here at Darujme.cz.

How do the scouts plan to help in the affected areas?
We want to offer our forces to respected humanitarian organizations, to the Integrated Rescue System and the affected troops and units. We attend to use the unaffected clubhouses as a base for groups of scout volunteers who will travel to affected regions from al over the Czech Republic. We will equip our volunteers with the best information needed and - thanks to the collection - even with the necessary material and protective equpment. We will pay their travel and meal expenses.
