Summer is finished, winter is coming and the shelter is getting ready for the cold days.❄️

Minnie, our oldest resident, is a wonderful dog, sweet and friendly to all animals. She is no trouble, but because of her age and the special living conditions she needs, it is becoming increasingly obvious that she will no longer find a home.😞 She has been with us for over 2.5 years.

For animals like Minnie we try to create particularly nice living conditions, so that they feel like having a home!🤗

For Minnie it was time to leave her outdoor summer kennel and to go back inside the house, but to our surprise she doesn't like being back inside and she is constantly trying to go back into her summer kennel! Outside Minnie settled in well, she became more active and mentally switched on, because there was more contact with other dogs and with volunteers, whom she was always able to successfully beg for a few treats.🥰 

Back inside she seems depressed, but outside it is just too cold for an old dog like Minnie, so we came up with the idea to install some heating in the kennel enclosure.🧏‍♀️🌡These would keep Minnie warm and she can stay in her favourite place, plus it would be a win-win situation for every dog that lives outside.🐾

🙏Please help us raise money to install the necessary heaters, to pay the extra costs for the monthly electricity bills and to be able to buy a few more insulation mats.🙏 

Even if we fail to find her a home, we can keep Minnie happy for a few more months, hopefully years!🤞💜
