Pestrá is the only organization in the Czech Republic providing a natural kennel-free training programme for assistance dogs. We believe that dogs trained and brought up in a natural home-like environment are best equipped to assist their future masters. Our clients are children and adults with physical, hearing and sight disabilities or some combination of these.
Why do we need to ‚fur-raise‘? Training costs are 250 000 Kč/dog and assistance dogs are not paid for by the State as is the case with guide dogs. So, without donations we will not be able to cover the costs of the training. Donate and do a dog a good deed! Thank you.
