☁️ ABOUT THE PROJECT☁️
Say my name is a three-year project of the SVĚTOVA 1 space and the Plusko+ collective. Their goal is to map the Czech queer scene in order to make existing information available to the public in one place. The project  have several outcomes – already realised festival and Zine, and a planned exhibition and a larger Reader.

SAY MY NAME Zine is now available at multiple locations for free (f. e. at SVĚTOVA 1) and provides information about life, experiences and recommendations from queer people living in the Czech Republic. The information can serve the readership as a guide, motivation and a publicly available resource for queer people – be they looking for queer spaces in their surroundings or advice on coming out.

☀Festival☀
This year's zero benefit edition of the Queer Knowledge Festival was the launch of our new platform in learning and education Say my name, loosely following on from last year's exhibition Hello my name is. Its goal is to bring together the queer community in a safe and calm space, a fulfilling environment where knowledge and queer theory is shared and deepened.

About the Plusko+ collective
The Plusko+ collective is a Brno-Prague queer group that strives to create a safe space for all members of the lgbtqia+ community, for all those who are looking for themselves, for those who do not fit in and for all those who are a plus in our society. Whether you're trans*, intersex, lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual or any + in the queer community, there is a place for you and your allies in friendship and partnership.

What is SVĚTOVA 1?
SVĚTOVA 1 is a nonprofit artist-run space focusing on emerging, queer and social matters. Our exhibitions and public programmes reflect our mission of achieving full expression, maintaining sustainable processes, and acting as a refuge for those in need. We aim to become a holistic entity – an educational and research institute – run by artists for artists.
