Taverners Charity Walk for Ukraine
Taverners FC walk 20km from Beroun to Karlštejn to raise money for Ukraine.
Taverners FC is a multi-national football club based in Prague with around 100 active members from all over the world, and several from Ukraine.
On Sunday, April 3rd we will walk 20km through the Czech countryside, from the city of Beroun to the famous Karlštejn castle, via the scenic village of Svaty Jan pod Skalou and the Velká Amerika quarry.
Our goal is to raise money for Človek v tisni (People In Need) and their Ukraine appeal. This Czech-based charity currently has people stationed on Ukraine's borders with Poland, Slovakia and Romania, assisting people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
Please donate what you can to support our cause.

Being in the country since 2014 allowed us to start helping immediately after the 2022 Russian invasion. We have built a network of more than 200 partners. We work with local organisations, civil society initiatives, government bodies, and academia to strengthen people's self-reliance and resilience while helping to provide for basic needs. We protect the rights of people affected by war and advocate for long-term solutions.
Thank you for helping with us. Please find more at www.peopleinneed.net
Hey Tom, It would not be possible for me to join this time because of my munchkin. I appreciate all the efforts and here is small token from my side. Hope this will make a tiny difference in making lives better for Ukrainian friends.
