Gil hasn't had an easy life. He lost his eyes as a kitten. He had problems in his foster homes because he was peeing outside of the litter box and could get quite aggressive in his play. Gil had crystals in his bladder and we thought this was the problem. Until one day whilst cleaning his litter we noticed a distinct 'tom cat' smell to his urine. After a hormone test it was discovered that Gil had not been castrasted! We found out he was cryptorchid, the testicles were in his stomach. Gil had surgery to castrate and then this became infected. It took time to heal but his 'problems' soon subsided 🙏

Gil now needs your help again. He needs to have most of his teeth removed due to gingivitis 🥲 and we'd like to 'shut his eyesockets' to prevent any infections or injuries in the future. We've recently successfully completed this surgery on two of our blind kitties, Tamara and Oliver and now we'd like to improve Gil's life. Can you help us please 🙏
